Service Policies
Shots by Miko requires events to be booked at least 6 weeks in advance.
Events booked inside that time frame are subject to a 20% increase in prices for services if Shots by Miko is available on the date with the services requested.
A 50% non-refundable retainer is required for events booked inside 6 weeks to be placed on the calendar.
In order for the event to be placed on the calendar, a 20% non-refundable retainer is due by 5pm of the final day of the live quote.
Shots by Miko on-site services have a three (3) hour minimum.
Virtual services are slated for at least one (1) hour.
Quote requests placed two (2) weeks or less out from the event date will NOT receive a seven (7) day quote period.
These require full payment upon confirmation of quote & receipt of invoice by 5:00 pm.
Formal contracts can be sent via email or the use of the invoice with all services and responsibilities can be used at the client’s discretion.
Formal contract requests need to be signed by the client and resent to Shots by Miko within 3 business days. A signed copy is available to the client, upon request.
Shots by Miko will provide a quote of the services desired that is valid for 7 days of issue, with the 7 days starting over anytime changes are made to the quote.
Events taking place more than 6 months out will garner a quote valid for one (1) month. Any changes to the extended quote will not garner a restart of that one (1) month time.
Balance is due in full two (2) weeks (14 days) prior to the event date or all monies paid to that point are forfeited by the client by 5pm.
If changes in services are needed, the client should contact Shots by Miko no later than two (2) weeks (14 days) prior to the event or incur a 35% fee added to services
In no way can Shots by Miko guarantee the changes will be honored inside the two (2) week notice period
Additional services requested on site will incur a 60% upcharge and will need to be paid immediately on-site before rendering.
All clients are required to notify Shots by Miko of the final guest count, if applicable, two (2) weeks (14 days) prior to the event.
Failure to do this may result in limited quantities of desired services.
Shots by Miko will contact the appropriate venue & issuing agency, if applicable, concerning documentation once the retainer is paid.
The minimum processing time for the appropriate state permit applications is 21 days. Individual permits are required for each day that does not consecutively occur. The city has a minimum processing time of two (2) weeks AFTER the state permits are issued. Please keep this in mind when inquiring about public events.
Shots by Miko will arrive at least an hour prior to the event to set-up and obtain the layout & flow of the event if changes have occurred day of.
Travel outside the Kansas City Metropolitan area will incur a travel fee of at least $50.
Shots by Miko will re-send any kits that have been returned by the delivery service & will also re-send components, excluding the spirit unless photos are provided, if damaged.
Additional tips outside of paid services are accepted.
If at any point the Shots by Miko staff feels unsafe in the environment, we reserve the right to leave the premises upon notification to the client.
No monies will be returned.
